The correct part
I clear snow from 22 apartments, so I occasionally come in contact with things that the snowblower auger doesn't like, curbs, sidewalk aprons, flower pots, and most of all, door mats !. It is so important to use the correct bolt as the shear pin, as they ensure that the auger and or drive is not damaged. These are the correct part, just soft enough to shear, thin in the right place, yet tensile enough to not fail in normal use.
