This is the very best spall guard/sleeve on the market hands down. Assembles in two pieces and padded nicely. Absolutely the best and super comfortable. High recommend even if you get the spall coated plates as it drastically improves comfort over the trauma pads. Gives the plates a bit of protection as well for handling and storage. Worth every penny and super quality.

    Spall Guard

    A definite must have for steel plates. Kevlar seems thick enough and has a thin pad in the rear as trauma protection. Exactly what I needed at a fair price. Nicely made.

    Tactical Scorpion spall guard

    Obviously I have not tested this product. I can tell you it fits AR500 armor level III+ advanced curved plates. It was a little tight, but it also fit inside the AR500 armor Vertias carrier. Looks great and of good quality. I would trust it.
