  • Interesting Look into the Movie Making Process

I really enjoyed this book (and still do). It is very unique in the aspect that it is the director of the Twilight film, sharing so many experiences, ideas, sketches, thoughts, & trial & errors in the film making process. Being a fan of the Twilight Saga books and movies, I found this a great addition to my collection. The book is sort of "pocket sized" , I guess to mimic a "journal" or sketch book that the director may have used in the development and adaption process. It is full of photographs, sketches and interesting trivia. Now I feel I have a much richer,in depth, knowledge of all things Twilight! I definately would recommend this fun book to anyone who is truly a fan of the Twilight Saga.

  • Interesting & Exciting Book to Read, Lots of Pictures.

I love this book. I hope that the other director's of the next 3 movies will do the same and write a notebook of their experiences and journey to making these movies. It goes very well with my Twilight Saga collection. Their is lots of information about the major scenes in the movie. Including pictures and great details of how everything was made and thought of. I especially like the pictures of all the cast. It was also really cool to find out how they did certain scenes, like the baseball scene and the ballet studio scene. This book is like a Twilight bonus features that you'd see in a special edition dvd.

  • Review from Twilight fan and film student

As a "Twilight" fan and aspiring short film writer/director, this book was right up my alley. The book is short, 163 pages. Each page is filled with hand drawn pictures, story board illustrations, and film scenes in a scrapbook layout. Whatever text there is is handwritten, which gives the book a more personal feel, though sometimes it is hard to read Ms. Hardwicke's writing. I enjoyed the explanations on how certain scenes were set up and shot, though I found them to be quite short and would have enjoyed a more thorough review. I would recommend this book to both amatuer film student and "Twilight" fan alike. However, a 'Twilight fan' may find this boring since it does cover technical filming details and does not cover the actors thoroughly. A film fan may find it not technical ...

  • it’s amazing!
