Item was packaged in thin layer of bubble wrap in larger box with too much room. Unfortunately there was a rattling sound inside the speedometer upon arrival and 5 tiny plastic gears and a metal shaft came out. Discovered that a small plastic piece that secures the shaft to the internal trip odometer gears had broken off. I was able to epoxy it back together and carefully realign the gears behind the odometer. Installed and everything works now. Happy, but wish item had been packaged better.
