    As I expected, this cap is a fake. It broke right after the first filling, or rather, it simply does not work. The latch rotates in both directions and the quality of the plastic is completely different. If you look closely at the photos I am attaching, you will see the difference between an ancient cap and a cheap fake.

    Great product! Just needs instructions to go with it. Otherwise, YouTube on how to install.

    Part matched exactly what my car has. The only thing missing is a short instruction on how to install. Almost destroyed the clip to where the gas cap attaches to. I guess perhaps that the gas cap is not only for Hondas and may have to account for different attachments. Other than that, the product is excellent for the price.

    New or used? Wrong tether.

    Pro: It screwed into the fuel fill pipe correctly. The gas cap hangs correctly on the cap holder in the fuel filler door. The cap came in a plastic Honda bag with a Honda part number. Con: The cap was missing the yellow text describing that the cap must be clicked closed. There was handwriting, in silver ink, on the cap; WAS THE CAP NEW OR USED? The tether was too short and becomes disconnected if the fuel filler door is fully opened. [See picture with tether removed]

    Just for my honda accord

    Exactly what my Honda Accord 2012 (EX-L-2.4-L L-4 DOHC 16V) was looking for. Although the message on the monitor was not removed (check fuel cap) because the problem came due to the malfunction of a valve. But the product itself is just what is described. Thank you!

    Good Replacement Thicker Tether

    My old tether broke on my 2015 honda civic "9th generation" This appears to be a good quality product. I loved that they improved the thin rubber plastic string tether with a springy thicker one. The thick one helps the Cap float rather than smack down against the side of the car. Cap looks high quality. Fit perfectly and clicked in well. No errors from the car. Will but again.
