      Soldering iron Worked great, I just made a stand for it to keep things organized.

      This soldering iron performed perfectly on my solid state circuit board. I liked the adjustable temp feature and also the extra tips were worth it. Kit had just what I needed. I couldn't have completed my repair without it. Wish it had a stand. I made one before I started. Thanks

      Buy cheap, buy twice

      Might as well label this a disposable soldering iron. I had one use with it. Tried it again a week later and it refused to heat. Even stranger, one of the tips I used actually MELTED when it did work. The tip is supposed to help melt the solder, not melt itself! That's what I get for buying cheap. Hardly matters that it has a temperature adjuster or plenty of tips coming with it. Just stick to something at the hardware store. It'll last infinitely longer.

      Hot Stuff!

      I was expecting some cheap flimsy item I'd have to toss in the trash after a few uses. Even though the grip is plastic, the overall unit is nicely made and easy to use. Replacing the soldering tips is easy and it comes with several different sizes/types to accomodate different soldering applications. Adjustable temperature settings top-out at 450-degrees. This is OK for my needs, but I'd recommend using low-temp solder for better results (certainly at any setting below 450).

      Works at Pro level.

      I have used several soldering irons and stations, TS-100 or Hako. So far this $9 thing works great or I should say works better than the money you paid for. Tip is great and durable. I use only wet wash cloth during soldering to keep tip clean and I have already soldered several quads and drones, tip still has shiny silvery color. What else you need? And EXTRA tips thats cherry on top. Adjustable temperature give you option to solder a tiny micro electronic circuit or a heavy duty soldering joint. This iron works everywhere.

      Pencil type soldering iron

      This pencil type soldering iron is one of the best I've used in over 30 years... Easy to handle, comfortable grip, and being adjustable is a bonus... (setting to lowest setting while not in active use keep iron hot without causing tip to wear out) Also, the mix of changeable tips allows work on various components, from smd's to TO220's... Finally, this iron is one of the best I've ever used, regardless of price, and I've used Pace equipment on down to import soldering work stations... william...
