Packed as well as can be in the original box with reusable foam and an outside shipping box. The truck itself is a jewel of an rc; like a fine timepiece with many gears whirring pleasantly. Perhaps my overall favorite rc. Treat it gently but send it appropriately. Very indoorsy, but trail capable. I have the speed motor, but I'm enjoying it as is for now. Ten thumbs way up
