If you order this, you might have to rewire the pump feed line. It is a 1 HP. It requires a 20 amp 220 volt ac bracker. It is wired with 16 gauge wire not 12 gauge, so if installed with 16 gauge wire it could burn the wires inground. Use at your own risk.

Pump appears well made. Use caution installing into a 4 inch iron pipe well casing as the wire guard is wider to accommodate the round power cord and will get hung up in a rusty well casing. It pumps lots of water and builds plenty of pressure.

There was only one issue that could be misleading ...the conductors on the water pump came appearing to be 120v. My application required 240v as I had ordered, but upon further investigation it turned out to be 240v as I had ordered. �� I used a ohm meter to figure it out.
