I have a Magpul stock with the magazine well on a short action Remington 700. I love the fit and feel of it and the magazine well works perfectly. This rifle soon became my son's favorite. So, when he bought a .30-06, I knew right away that he needed the same setup on it. I purchased the 700L for his birthday and he can't wait to get to the range. With it, he's been able to replicate what he loves about my gun and still personalize it and make it his own. Additionally, I have a precision rifle with M5 bottom metal. The Magpul magazines work flawlessly in it. I keep four of them in my kit and I keep them going without incident. Why pay double (or more) for AI or even an off-brand? Magpul has never disappointed me! I recommend Magpul to shooters of every level. I have a Magpul stock with the magazine well on a short action Remington 700. This fit my 700 ADL in 30/06 like a glove. The only challenge is getting the screws the proper length. My stock screws fit but not with enough grab. I had ordered longer BDL screws but I had to shorten them to make them fit properly. Now Its ready for the range and the Elk hunt!

Great kit for a good price. Its nice to have a detachable magazine!!! If installing this on a long action factory BDL 700 stock you will have to do some filing/sanding on the inside of the stock for this to fit. The action worked flawlessly with it once installed!

Good add on to the Hunter stock. Although, I had to use a small file to nibble out the trigger area. (Less than a 32nd of an inch on both sides) I have a Timney Hunter Elite trigger in my 700, and I think they are just a little wider than the stock trigger that was in it. Other than that, it fit like a glove into the stock

I installed this magazine and the Magpul stock on my Remington 700 in 30-06 caliber. I am completely happy with it. It functions flawlessly. The only improvement I would like to see is a set of long screws included with the package. The factory screws aren't long enough. The two replacement screws cost me $23.00.
