You need a small pointed soldering iron to assemble these. The solder pads where the leads come through th board are very small.

Board is not the same as shown in the image. Was able to mostly assemble however no connectors provided for the audio input side and is missing a 20k resistor. Came with a second 1k resistor instead. Also came with an extra pin connector and a jumper, will have to investigate what that does. Voltage is labeled 12v input, expected 5v so will have to change my plans a little for power supply. supplied LEDs seem to be 5v so that's what I was expecting. No instructions or diagram included.

completely satisfied with product and with seller. 100% perfect. Recommend product and seller 100%. Recommend that user solder the resistor that is under the chip, on the back side of the PC board, else the chip will not enter well, make good contact and lock in the base - because the resistor would be in the way. Just try it without soldering and you will see what I mean. This does not detract from the product, mind you. It is very, very good. I use the device to measure light level.
