Works as described... Make sure the 2 jamb nuts that hold the glass cover on are tight after warm up the slide door ifs firmly seated befor you roast. Dont leave the process unattended and end up with a mess. A low flame and abot maybe 15 minures and you actually can hear the first and second crack Dont place the roaster on a solid surface that resonates like metal or burns like wood or you nice countertop. I used a bright LED light and held it over the cage to see the color.
