    was so nice to install it into the dvd optical drive bay without any issues or problems. I am extremely happy with this item.

    This was a very smooth and stress free install. no problems or stress at all. Be aware you must have experience and knowledge in installing this item. the fit was perfect into the drive bay. each step went according to plan from removing the back lifting the keyboard out of the laptop; pushing the old dvd out and sliding in the new dvd drive. reinstalling the keyboard including the ribbon was as planned. there was no surprises or issues during install. powered up and dvd worked SWEET AND PERFECT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

    Drive works, incorrect description. Not for Optiplex 5090 SFF Model

    The drive itself works as intended, however the description is incorrect. This was not for the Dell Optiplex 5090 SFF (Small Form Factor). This item is only for the full size tower. The SFF model has a smaller bezel, as well as an additional clip for securing the drive in the case. Had to purchase a different bezel and adapter set in order to make it work.

    Peerfect Fit!!!

    The CD/DVD burner fit perfectly into my Dell XPS 8930 tower. No prying off face plates to adapt the drive to the tower. It was a "process" removing the old drive and installing the new one however the Dell Service Manual offered very clear step-by-step instructions. I couldn't be happier!
