    The hat is a little small for an adult. There is an elastic band sewn in that raises the hat off your head because the bowl on the hat isn't deep enough. I undid the stitching for the band and lowered the back part of the tricorn. It looks and wears much better now, though I wish it would have been a little deeper to fit my head still.

      What we were looking for

      We searched for a pirate-y tricorne hat and found a good quality one at a good price. Sadly the user's head is between child and adult-sizes but we knew this was an adult-size hat so we'd expected it to be big.
