    Not knowledgeable enough to tell whether a short coming is the fault of the phone, or of the version of Android implemented on the particular model. The stylus is too skinny and slippery for me. Quite often I use a 3rd party regular stylus with this phone. There is no Always On Display in the setting. I use an app - AOD XPaths. On this phone (Andro 12) Gboard comes as non-uninstallable default keyboard. Took quite a bit of time to get my preferred keyboard - Multiling, to become the default.

      a perfect phone for me

      Has built in stylus which is too skinny and slippery, an audio port, and large internal storage. It takes SD. The android 12 implementation doesn't have Allways On Display, so I got it from an app. Gboard is a system default feature which cannot be uninstalled. When I installed my preferred keyboard - Multiling, and set it up to be the default, at first the system ignored the setting. After updating Gboard from the Play Store, the problem vanished.
