    good and bad

    Box works fine. I borrowed the cable card from my present (4742HDC) leased from my cable company and my purchased box worked fine. However I am having a problem getting a cable card from my cable company in spite of their advertised availability to lease a cable card. I'm still in process of trying to deal with them.

    Buy rather than rent
