    the product appears to be a quality prioduct.

    never used it because the nut that allows access to the cylinder is rusted. that never happens on the home shows. anyhow the part looks like it will work when ti get the nut off and the time comes. it was delivered in a timely manner.

    Weaker Aluminum version

    I should of asked questions instead of going off of the picture. I needed the heavy-duty version and the picture looked like the heavier one. It is the aluminum version that breaks. The price was fair, but it'll break after a couple difficult cartridges. Better than nothing though.

    Cheap knock off

    Tool is made from pillow soft alluminum. It feels painted plastic by weight. The only steel parts are small screw and handle. Ranch teeth are wider than valve slots. But the worst part is that the same tool in original make is available in Homedepot at much lower price.

    All plastic tool

    Item appears to be all plastic except for the center screw, and it is not useful for turning a stuck cartridge to free it. Because Moen cartridges often require considerable force to remove when they become stuck, the tool is of limited value. If you have already loosened the cartridge using something else, this tool can be used to pull it straight out. Several tools already in your toolbox can accomplish that task just as well.

    Cartridge puller for Moen - Good enough for light use

    Better than the little plastic tool that Moen includes with a replacement cartridge. Yet it is made of a very soft metal that would wear out with regular professional use. So I consider it good enough for a homeowner who doesn't expect to use it much, but a working plumber would want something better.
