Adco loader
This worked for my Smith and Wesson Shield 9mm but would not work on another 9mm (Springfield) that I purchsed later. So I ended up buying a Maglula which costs more but works on almost all 9mm's and other calibers as well. If you only have one type magazine to load this is a cheap way to go. If you have multiple magazines you might want to get one that fits all.

Easy to use. Works great. Good price. Small size so it slips easily into the range bag and ready at hand when you need it. I have 3 of these. One for .380, one for single stack 9mm and single stack .45, and one for double stack 9mm.

Not that “speedy”
This is the first speed loader I’ve bought. I thought it would make loading a magazine faster, but it doesn’t really. I could see it helping if someone had a real stiff mag. spring and it was difficult to press bullets down.

Adco Super Thumb Speed Loader
Works great for single stack mags, plastic piece that pushes down cartridges does not allow next cartridge to be slid all the way back into the mag but after doing it a couple of times you just tilt and lift to allow cartridge to be slid back into position. Once you get a rhythm going it's pretty fast. I found it was a good idea to put in the first cartridge by hand and then use the loader.
