The desk is easy to setup (you will need an electric screwdriver driver, and there are no guidance holes for the hooks). The noise especially at the start/stop is about as loud as bumping the table. My desktop setup does not wobble when leaning on it at standing height with 2 monitors, mouse and keyboard, including a clamped monitor arm.
