I just rolled it out on a table, put a piece of plywood over the top & then put a few cinder blocks on top. I waited 2 weeks and the Cutting Mat is flat and has stayed flat since.

It had been "rolled" (as expected) and shipped in a box. Unfortunately, because of the way shippers handle packages, the box was crushed mercilessly, after which the shipper had extensively taped the ends and damaged shipping box shut! The mat was no longer rolled, but rather flattened. I feared it would not lay flat, but after applying a steam iron over a towel, it appears to be ok.
