    Solid bridge.

I used this bridge to replace the rusted, impossible to adjust, original bridge on my '74 P bass. The new bridge was a good fit, but the screws that come with it are a little smaller than the original screws, so I used the original screws to install it. I am very pleased with its authentic appearance and functionality. I recommend this bridge as a replacement for basses of this era if the original bridge is beyond saving.

  • Second best bridge to me

I used a deluxe fender bridge, which is thickier than the usual standard bridge, 3 screws and produces more sustain, but I had to get back to a 5 screws bridge and I was afraid of losing sustain or creating dead spots. However, with this bridge I got the same results as the previous one, that is, it didn't lose sustain at all and it didn't create any dead spots whatsoever. I am very happy with it and it looks really great on my bass. Why my second favorite? Because the deluxe bridge looks better IMO, and allows string throu body and more string spacing options.

  • Great no hassle vintage style bridge

My favorite vintage style Fender bass bridge. I use it on both of my Fender P basses as I'm not a fan of high mass bridges, and I prefer this one to the threaded 60s bridge because it's simpler and the saddles feel a bit more solid to me. Never had an issue with it. Nice solid saddle screws too, and not thin hex screws where you're just waiting for them to wobble and drop. Thumbs up.

  • Vintage all the way

I have bought three of these bridges in the past and they are all have the same fit and function as the originals the only downside is that when restoring a 1970s Fender precision bass ,would be that they are very shiny.
