Our great grandson loves this movie..We as great grandparent just figured he would watch it...and he did and so we did too.. We enjoyed it also..when our little was watching as they were building robots he sat on the floor at the age of 3 and half pulled half his toys out of the toy box and started putting things together and had his aunt get tape and started taping toys together to make a robot....it was keeping our interest..a great dvd to watch with the little one and the adults too... GREAT STORY MESSAGE
This is not one of the favorites, but it is a good movie. I LOVE the story line and the meaning of it, that dreams do come true. That is why I give it a thumbs up x2. It has a weird animation of everything metal(meaning the robots) and of different parts (where the robots live), the blue man group did an awesome job on the sounds and it fits the movie perfectly. Robin Williams had funnier parts and better movies, and it was not his best work. He did pass the test for this movie because it fit together so well. There was funny adult humor that the kids won't understand and there was funny kid's humor that they did understand. My 7 and 13 yr old loves it! It is worth the buy and the rental. *** PERSONAL NOTE*** I would highly suggest renting before you buy just to be sure ... This is not one of the favorites, but it is a good movie. Great movie for all ages. An animated classic!
Robots is a great animated story made by the Fox Animation Studios. The storyline follows a young robot setting out from home in search of his mentor Big Weld. When he reaches Robot City he realizes Big Weld is no longer in charge of the factory and sets out to discover the truth behind his disappearance. The film has an equal balance of child and adult humor mixed in and would be enjoyable for all ages. The vocal cast is also outstanding with stars such as Mel Brooks, Robin Williams, Drew Carey, and Halle Berry.Robots is a great animated story made by the Fox Animation Studios. Good show for kids
This is mostly clean, a little crass towards the end with a crossdressing robot and some strange dance moves, but generally a good story with funnies for kids and adults. Very imaginative world.

Robots Movie-Fun for the whole family!!!!
This movie is great for the whole family. It teaches the valuable lesson of never giving up on your dreams and has current music and doesn't go into adult themes like so many animated movies do nowadays. The nice thing is that it is appealing to adults despite not going taking the easy way out and using sexual themes etc. All of my children love this movie and so do I and I hope someday they think of the tenacity of Rodney Copperbottom when they are thinking of giving up on anything. If nothing else, the characters have funny names and it is hilarious to hear the young ones trying to say them. Rodney gets called Cogigone in our house. I recommend this movie to anyone of any age and I'm sure you will enjoy it. Perhaps time and time again!This movie is great for the whole family.
