A good idea made even better!

This is an awesome product! For a long time, I did not purchase any of these 'paste alternatives' because they were either too thick or had an adhesive that prevented easy replacement. This product is nice and thin so it fits perfectly between my heatsink and CPU. It is also reusable! When I eventually upgrade, I can just swap from old system to new! No need to worry about paste application or mess. It's heat transfer capability is far and beyond any other similar product I've looked into. Highly recommended!

Does not preform better than thermal paste

While the application is reusable, it is not very effective in warmer environments. I am getting about a -5/+5 C range in a room of ambient 26 C. The heat displacement just is not as fast with a dry mount. When encoding video, I experienced an initial heat spike of +12 C higher than a previous stock gel paste application. Maybe a good choice in special use cases, otherwise stick with traditional quality thermal paste.

  • GREAT "CONVENIENCE" ALTERNATIVE TO THERMAL PASTE!

These thin graphite thermal pads are intended to be used in place of thermal paste between the CPU's heat spreader and the coldplate of a CPU cooler, where (traditionally) one would spread thermal paste. While it doesn't rival the very best thermal pastes in terms of performance, it's as good as many and more than adequate for general use (AND it's re-usable!) Therefore, it's an ideal solution for quickly swapping out a CPU for testing purposes, or for people that would rather not deal with the mess or work involved in applying thermal paste. In short, it's easy, it's effective, and it installs neatly. The product is available in 30mm×30mm (for most Intel desktop CPUs) or 40mm×40mm (for AMD Ryzen CPUs) and is VERY easily cut. In fact, with a sharp blade, it takes nothing more than the ...

  • This will replace any kind of thermal paste in your system

No more yearly or bi yearly changing of nasty thermal paste, no more recurring cost of thermal paste, no more guessing how much thermal paste goes on the cpu, no more bs. The only flaw I have with this product is that it slides around inside your case and what I mean it’s like the product reads it’s a pad and it doesn’t have any sticky thing on it anywhere to stick to your hearsink/waterblock, this product is conductive btw so just don’t have your power supply plugged in and you should be good in that department. The temps I’m getting so far with my system and it’s over clocked is better than the previous thermal paste. No more bs. Just put this in your system and you’ll be good for years. And yes it’s reusable.

  • A small easy to use pad

I have a water cooled computer and this pad makes it even better. It lowered my low temperatures by about two degrees. That doesn't sound like much till you realize my cpu is running about two degrees F above room temperature on a low load. With a good load I still don't reach body temperature. With benchmarking which puts a heavy load on the cpu I might reach 120F. I was getting readings of about ten to fifteen degrees above that with using a good thermal paste. Just on the internet I'm running 21C or 69F. It is a lot easyer to use than thermal paste and they say it can be reused many times.
