Great budget cutter for modeling
The blades of these cutters are very small and sharp, designed very well for cutting sprues and excess plastic away from plastic model kits, be they figures or vehicles. It does require some precision to avoid leaving some plastic behind, or accidentally cutting into the model, but overall it performs its role with aplomb, much better than a plain exacto knife or wire cutters. The overall form factor is nice, it's a bit heavy and feels very solid. It's a great price too! I would still avoid cutting anything too hard or large, so it can maintain its sharpness for as long as possible. And be careful not to jab yourself on those extremely sharp points on the end, yowch! A must have hobby tool
Absolutely awesome product. I've been building models since I was a kid and never owned a tool like this. A friend turned me on to it and I'm now on my third one. Makes cutting pieces off the sprue a breeze with a nice clean cut. I just have to remember to stop cutting things that the tool was not made for. I'm sure it would last much longer.

I really have no negatives about this Xuron Professional Sprue Cutter. It cuts the parts of my model out of their sprues with ease. I believe these cutters will last me a very long time. I’d buy them again if I ever needed new ones.
