The shoulder pad's curve gives it an ergonomic fit while the thinness of the rest of the strap gives greater freedom of movement while I'm playing. Being made by Fender, it's constructed as well as I would expect -- perfectly! Great product, great price, lightning-fast shipping, and great seller. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
