Well worth it.
Very happy with this purchase. This was the easiest part. All buttons worked great. I bought for use with Dolphin and love it. It is a little lighter buttons are a little harder to press for a while than an OEM but as far as ease goes it cannot be beat. No converter that may or may not work plus I've lost my converter. I'll buy another one of these before I buy another converter and I'm picky about controllers. (No madcats for me) just a heads up ripping games from CD can be a pain but works much better than any other way.Very happy with this purchase. This was the easiest part. All buttons worked great. It's Great But Ultimately Disappointing
The pros of this device is that you get the button layout, the feel in the hand, and everything else that you would want with a gamecube controller. The downfall is that the triggers dont have the analog control that is required for gamecube games. Like in Mario Sunshine. In Sunshine you need the analog control to be able to run and spray water at the same time, but since the triggers are only digital you can only shoot water whilst standing still (unless you remap the button). I dont understand why they did this because of the fact that there is travel in the triggers. There is also no rumble as advertised in the photos. This is a great buy for the price but if you want the analog triggers and rumble, id suggest getting an adapter for gamecube controllers, and an OEM gamecube controller. No need for an adapter. - Great price, considering the quality. CONS - The L & R triggers don't have multiple sensitivity options. If you want those, you would be better off getting an official GC controller, as well as a Raphnet USB adapter. UNSURE - It feels lighter than an official GC controller. - This is an early review. Triggers are not analog
Connected easily, feels good, the buttons feel great, the sticks are tight but unfortunately the triggers are not analog, which makes this controller unuseable for games like Mario Sunshine which require semi-pressed inputs.
