This did fit (with a bit of trimming) in my well worn Toshiba Portege R705-P25. Apparently these jacks are a common problem with Portege laptops. The center post breaks away which prevents the laptop/battery from getting power. Problem solved.

I appreciate the great customer service when I requested a return when I inadvertently bought the wrong item which I realized once it arrived. There was another version of this fan-only a digit off. So I returned it without installing it--once I let seller know, a free return was started for me immediately. I will definitely entrust this seller for my needs in the future.

This is more about the product than the seller. Seller was responsive and offered to accept a return which would have meant disassembly of the laptop again of which it will need soon. The fan purchased has very loud sound as though it's struggling to run almost a growl. I don't expect it will last 90 days. Look for different fan for PC laptop HP
