I ordered this party tent for my daughter's June birthday party and it was exactly what I expected and hoped for. It took my husband and 15 year old son 30 minutes to assemble. It held up against moderate West Texas Sumer winds and kept my guests out of the horrible June direct sun while looking chic. This party tent is not for extended use ( I had it standing for 3 days with no issue) if you do not abuse it I believe it will last for years of use. If you are seeking a polished looking summer party or event shelter this is it! If you are looking for a gazebo to assemble permanently in your yard, THIS IS NOT IT because it is not it's intended purpose.

Tarps available at Walmart are comparable in quality, not very sturdy, can't stand being up with a slight breeze as too flimsy to withstand any light winds. Lines and stakes very poor and pull out of ground with slight pull. Was in military and this tent needs aftermarket stakes and rope to secure it to the ground. Instructions show using 8 people to lift and assemble tent properly in stages which takes long time as it tends to come apart if great care not taken and may fall apart while trying to assemble. Can't say much else positive about it as it may only be usable once provided wind doesn't tear it apart. Is a nice design and nice features that are pleasant but recommend heavy duty large stakes and rope from sporting goods store to put up at minimum and assemble as close to use time as possible without any winds.Read full review

I was hoping for an easy up and something a lot more stable. One gust of wind and the whole tent will go down. It is a good value for the product if you want to create a semi-permanent structure out of it. I can only see it lasting one season. I hope to find a good use for it some time soon.

The fact that it is up and down. You cannot leave this up for length or period of time during inclement weather. Even a slight rain and the cover pools water. Had to be taken down. I primarily use it for next to a barbecue gas stove as a cover for cooking. I've had better that you could leave up and then take down after the rain. Top is not heavy at all and no velcro in the corners for the posts to attack to. Only velcro straps for the framework for the cover to attach to.

Product has not HEAVY DUTY at all. No real quality to it at all....extremely difficult to set up. Pieces won't stay locked together, tie down ropes too thin, stakes are too short and thin (pulls out of ground very easy). The slightest wind and the tent will come tumbling down.
