I'm not sure how well this product performs on an AK pattern rifle, but I bought one for changing the front sight out on my Chinese SKS. Unfortunately, the plunger is too short to fully remove the windage adjustment drum on an SKS rifle. The threaded section of the plunger is too large in diameter to fit in the hole where the windage drum sits, and the non-threaded section of the plunger is not long enough to fully press the drum out of its housing. The threads on the plunger end up hitting the lip of the hole and stop you from going any further. I used a short piece of metal dowel as an extension to allow me to finish removing the sight; while it works in a pinch, there are probably better options out there for front sight tools if you're planning on working on an SKS.

It works and the price is right. Since it slid something you’ll only use once a year for five minutes it doesn’t need to be high quality, and it isn’t. It hurts your fingers to turn sometimes because it’s not big enough for proper leverage, but it’s appropriate for the price.

Works excellent, allows you to "Press" the sight blade left and right and screw the sight up and down..... very easy to use, if you buy a AK or SKS you'll need one of these

I used the AK tool I bought from you yesterday for the first time and it broke. I cannot belive that while I adjusted the front site up, the absolute first time I used it, the thing broke apart. What a cheap piece of junk. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I dont know that this would work well on an older gun that is stiff. Metal is soft IMO. But pushes and adjusts a new production AK's sights acceptable.
