    Great gauge set for the money!

    I used this gauge set over the weekend to evacuate and recharge the ac in my Dodge truck after replacing the accumulator. Best feature: expanded vacuum gauge scale - makes it possible to spot a leak sooner after evacuating the system. This is very close to a professional quality gauge set. Excellent value. Snap-On gauge set runs $250!

    Not so good

    What I didn’t like is there is no valve on yellow. Middle hose or connection. So you cannot hook up and check pressures unless you purchase additional valve or have vacuum pump hooked up. Also the valves that quick coo ect onto A/C fittings should be reversed rotation. Because when you close valve turning clockwise it’s pushing the button down all the way. It should be doing that when valve all the way open.

    Need an adapter, to make hose fit can puncture unit!

    Was easy to use, but the hose for the freon input, did not fit the can puncture unit I had purchased at AutoZone.

    AC Manifold Gauges

    Gauges are nice quality, works well on R12 system only. Does not fit R134A systems. No adapters fittings to convert hoses to R134A, hoses fittings to small. Had to buy second set of gauges for R134A.

    Gages Worked Well

    Used this several times to diagnose a mini van cooling issue. Gages showed that the pressures were fine. Looked elsewhere and determined that the cooling fan was not engaging at idle. Gages are of good quality for the price. I had no issue.
