    Your hearing is worth it. Buy them now!

    Great fitting ear defenders. Comfortable enough to wear all day on site. The technology just works. I can hear what’s going on around me safely and still be protected from dangerous levels of noise. Are they expensive? They do cost more than most, but for someone who already has some damage to one ear I think they are just worth every penny. Buy them! You won’t regret it.

    Top Quality Ear Protection

    The peltor sportac ear defenders are probably the most popular ear defenders used for shooting sports. They work extremely well at shutting out loud and damaging noise. They are also extremely comfortable to wear and easy to maintain as hygiene kits are widely available. Running for many hours on two AAA batteries and have an automatic shut off after 2 hours if you forget to turn them off. Expensive, but well worth the extra pennies, if you are serious about your sport and want to own the best quality defenders.

    Protect your hearing

    From bitter experience (I already have mild tinnitus), I am now careful about guns, angle grinders, race engines etc. These electronic defenders are comfortable to wear and allow normal conversation etc. I used them at a 70 bird clay shoot last Sunday and found them excellent at taking the ‘sting’ out of gun shots. Only downside was that, as I had them adjusted, they could bump the top of the gun stock. Next time out I will adjust them to sit higher on my head and see if that gets them out of the way. They can be folded up into very little space but this loses the setting of the adjustment so I will find a suitable bag to hold them without folding them up once I have adjusted them for optimum fit.     Comfort and function plus 2 colours

    Ideal for range and hunting. These ear defenders do the job really well. They are unobtrusive to wear, it's actually easy to forget you have them on. The lack of knob for power and volume keep them slim too. I find them perfect for my needs and I'm glad that I went for this level of defenders. The peltors allow easy conversation while still protecting your ears from damage. Most excellent!

    Hear your range officer but not the gun shots

    These ear defenders are amazing, you can adjust the amplification of ambient sounds around you (e.g. range officer, other shooters, etc) to a convenient level but gun shots are kept to safe hearing levels. After wearing for a couple of hours in a cold indoor range my ears did become a little sweaty (? could have been condensation) but not excessively so.
