Still a reliable power supply despite it's age.
I purchased the Lenz model LGB central station and I was looking for a good power supply to go with it. It was confusing how to hook up the cables as the back has 4 slots with two labeled as 3 and the other two as 4 but I figured that you have to hook one wire to 3 and the other to 4 to supply power. The product had some grime on it but nothing too bad based on the age of the device. It works well and is solid! The cable was in good condition and showed no signs of dry rot.

Transformer is heavy and needs connecting cables and a speed controller to provide movement.
The LGB 50111 transformer is necessary to run LGB and other "G" gauge model trains. The trains run on brass tracks and are very heavy. The 50111 transformer provides the power to run the train and operate accessories such as switches and lights.
