So far so good . Have only used it for a few hours. Dismantled a fallen 40 ft. white pine with plenty of power to spare. Recharged in less than 45 min.. It is quite a bit heavier than the 2Ah that came with the saw but does last quite a bit longer. For trail clearing the 2 Ah is plenty good but for bigger jobs this 4 Ah is just the thing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great powerful battery BUt!
This is an awesome loooooong time between charges. But it will not fit well in all of green works tools It sticks like crazy in the blower and long handled saw pretty darn tight in the newest Greenworks mower I have a battery pack on my back and it broke that in too. Soooo I took a belt sander to it and removed 1/4 inch all around and used a Dremel to improve the guides. This is likely not safe. It forces work and fit the lawn mower and snowblower. But I wonder with a second one would be as bad. Again Better than or as good as Greeneorks at 1/2 the price. You will take a chance and you will get out the ssnder. won't charge using the Greenworks charger (contacts not engaging)
I am not able to charge the battery using the Greenworks charger that originally came with my Greenworks string trimmer and snow plow with the 2.5 amp battery. If you push it tightly into the charger, the charger begins to work, but release that pressure and it disconnects instantly. I won't be able to use the battery since I have drained it to 1/4 charge using the string trimmer after mowing my lawn.
