    Item took too long to get shipped. I had a tracking number 6 days before item was given to post office. Once the usps had the package it arrived quickly. Item was as described and was packed very well. Customer service was responsive. If I knew that seller took so long to ship I would not have bought item from them. Nowhere does it say on the sellers site that they take 5-7 days to ship. That is rediculous. Anyhow. The old tape deck i bought works. Once belts are replaced it should be good.

    A magnificent movie that's appropriate for viewing anytime of the year

    The quality of this reproduction is excellent. The movie itself is superb, of course, and the black and white nature of the video produces an authenticity that helps bring the settings back to the 1840's when Dickens first published his masterpiece. As for the bad aspects of the movie, give me a few decades and maybe I'll come up with something.

    Every family should own this classic "A Christmas Carol" (1951) starring Alastair Sim. Alastair Sim is phenominal in his role as Ebenezer Scrooge. Definitely a movie that can be enjoyed year round! Highly recommend!

    A Christmas classic.

    Enjoyed watching background commentaries. They provided some interesting information about this old film. In my opinion this is a time honored Christmas classic. The last thing we do before going to bed on Christmas eve is sit down and watch this movie. Watching the transition that Ebeneezer Scrooge goes through warms your heart, and his new felt enthusiasm for Christmas is contagious. They've done a great job of updating video. They greatly smoothed out both the audio and video. It is easy to watch and you no longer have to adjust the volume and down during the show as you have to do with older versions. The only down side is it is black and white only... I realize to get to true visual quality the original work was black and white, however I did like the visuals of the "colorized" ...

    A lot of people have forgot the meaning of Christmas it is spelled Christmas not xmas

    It only gave half of the meaning of Christmas the other half was left Out the part where marry gave birth to are savor but I thought the movie was very good I watch it every day hope you have a marry Christmas and a happy new year Denise Logan
