The Asus RT-AC1200 is a dual-band wireless router that won the PC Magazine Reader’s Choice Award six years running from 2012 - 2017. Dual-band means that it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections. It supports 802.11ac and is backward-compatible with 802.11b/g/n. Four external 5dBi antennas are included, and you can adjust antenna position for ideal performance in your environment. An integrated switch lets you connect up to four devices via Ethernet. Advanced features include parental control, which lets parents restrict content and internet access.

    Asus RTAC1200 Router

    I'm very pleased with this router. I have wired power line Link and wireless connections going to this router. We have several guest staying with us now and as many as 19 devices using this router at one time with no issues after setting up the traffic manager QoS settings. We live in a big house and the distance range compares to our previous router which was a top end router. For the price point, performance and ease of use this is a great router. I would highly recommend it for most people.

    Not gigabit ports.

    They wasted my time. They advertised gigabit ports but it's false. Once I got it and tested, they are limited to 100mb. Even the incoming WAN port is limited to 100mb

    Awesome, easy to use, great value!

    This was very easy to set up right out of the box. Simple instructions, I had no problems whatsoever. I was using a very old (like 10 yrs!) 2.4ghz wifi router that was getting slower and slower, turns out all our channels were crowded. We couldn't even get reception in the other room anymore. Switched to this ASUS dual band router and WOW!!! My wifi speed jumped from 20mbps on our old one, to 60+ mbps immediately! That's matching our LAN speed. Insane difference! I highly recommend this product, and try using a wifi analysis to see what channels are being used, so you know what's best ;) My only complaint is the website for router setup doesn't have an option for port-fowarding, so I'm not sure how to do it using this router software.

    Great router, lots of features!

    Nice east interface and lots of information. Easy to set up and the USB connection is a great feature. I am currently using it as storage for a media server. For the price it's a great router and i paid less than half of retail due to it being a re-furb. The router itself was in great condition and looked new out of the box.

    Great Router!

    This router is easy to setup, and will support anything the average family will throw at it. I have 150 meg internet from Mediacom Cable. This router will push the max speed I am getting. My upload is 67 meg with a speed test. We can stream HD on 3 TVs, an ipad, and two smart phones at the same time and never notice a thing. Absolutely the best value at $30 refurbished. Great.
