It is bent between the spring and the hinge, and won't return to the upright position. The claim is 400 lb capacity, and I'm 280 lbs. The tilt mechanism isn't built from thick enough material. In the photo, you can see how it has bent, and flared out the sides of the bracket. For a big and tall chair, the back isn't very tall. What looked like an adjustable head rest is not.
