Have been using a Pearlcorder T1000 for the last few years, and when mine broke, it was a real lose as my boss will not convert to digital. Pearlcorder T1000 is One Helluva Machine!
If you have recordings on microcassettes that you want transcribed, then get the Pearlcorder T1000. It makes transcribing smooth as silk without any hassles. This transcriber makes it a pleasure transcribing. I wish I had this when I was in college going over the profs' lectures, things would've been so much easier. Instead, I had a tape recorder and was manually stopping, playing, reversing, fast forwarding the tape hundreds of times. It was a total pain in the (you know what).It took me the whole day to transcribe just one measly tape.
