    Item is legitimate. Transaction was smooth. Price was completely good. I will offer this critique: the seller shipped the item complete in its box, into 2 thin envelopes. The box itself was slightly caved in, but the item, was fine. This may not be an issue for some, but small not proper cushioned items like this just get manhandled during shipping. Maybe consider alternative shipping containers to keep items protected. I personally like to keep boxes for my items.

    Well made.

    Be prepared to figure out what you are going to do with your crank case vents. If you just drop a couple of hoses down, you are going to leak oil like crazy.... enough your tailgate will look like it's got chicken pox and you will have a couple of pools of oil under the truck every time you shut it off. I ended up capping off the side vents and running a Case IH valve cover breather setup which was about $180. I didn't realize at the time of purchase that there was no oil separator on this unit and additional parts were required to keep the truck from leaking oil everywhere. All that being said, the unit itself is well made. It sealed up tight and hopefully I'll never have a leak around the cover again.

    Very Nice Part and it worked great for me.

    This is not a knock on this part, you just need to be aware if you want no oil on the ground then add an oil catch can with breathers to capture the oil vapor. Since I installed the part no leaks and the catch can with the breather is capturing the oil that is in the the vent lines. So no more spots in the drive way. This installation takes some time, just because of all the stuff you have to take off. Just be patient and take pictures as you go so you can put it all back together in the same order you took it off in.

    Great with a catch can!!

    This is by far the best tappet cover for the money! Although it doesn’t have an oil baffle built in like some of the others you can find online. However those with the oil baffles are 3 things the cost of this tappet cover and do NOT include fittings for breather lines. Those more expensive tappet covers also require cutting of the very thin o-ring style outer gasket and the use of RTV silicon. This is where this tappet cover shines yet again it includes 8an fittings, pre-installed 3/16 o-ring gaskets, an MADE IN THE USA!!!

    Well worth it.

    This is a well made piece and not something you'd want to replace twice due to the work involved. I have no clue why the oem piece was so poorly designed without an o ring like this one. My factory cover was leaking through the bolt holes but this piece has o rings on all bolts. Seller also has good communication and took care of an issue I had quickly.
