My old cassette weighs more than this, did not expect that.
My cassette arrived today in perfect condition. Packing was spot on. This is so lightweight. I guess I was expecting due to its large size it would weigh a lot more than this does. I am upgrading a cheap rear wheel and drive system to the Shimano XT for the most part on my handcycle. I am really impressed with this cassette. Brand new as described. The first 5 sprokets are loose as in not connected to each other. I am new to this so please understand my odd observations. This has a plastic sleeve and a clip that keeps this together. I accidently pulled that not knowing what it did.... I thought it was a zip tie end... It popped right off the sleeve. No worries I had some small zip ties to slip through the slots on the plastic piece for now. In the images you see my low end 7 speed cassette, not enough low gears to allow me to use the homemade handcycle. UPDATE: AUG 8 2018 Got my new wheelset for the rear wheel and it's hub... I absolutely enjoyed installing this cassette. It looks incredible to me on the new wheel. Added 2 new images of the cassette on the new wheel. Highly recommende! Super quality. Excellent value.
