I went ahead and purchased it anyway. The item arrived and was perfect for my need, and I figured out my answer. So I did not have to communicate AFTER the purchase. I just hope/ expect/ assume that seller would communicate well AFTER a purchase. Thus, I gave 3 stars for communication.

That being said I contacted the seller and they issued a refund. Have not installed it in my laptop yet due to the time it will take to properly process all steps involved in this task, but hope to do so soon. Hopefully this will be a quality item in perfect working order as described in the listing and that it will allow me to add more fast storage to my laptop without removing my main OS drive, making it a great value. Great experience with seller so far!
