    More than adequate.

    Excellent suitability of purpose as I have come to expect from Casio G-Shock watches - my third one (the first one, 20 years old, still running on original battery). I got the 1100 series because I needed an analogue face that was easier to read in dim light or full dark. The 1100- 1A3 fulfills this need admirably. This one a little "busier" than I really need, but I'm fine with it. The negative I've found is that the two small recessed windows on the right side of the face, both up and down, are not easily read out of direct light or without turning on the supplementary light (which is very bright and evenly distributed). Also, the supplemental function controls (temperature, compass, etc.) are a little hard to remember for the occasional user, but that is what I signed on ...

    Can't beat the features for the price. Perhaps a bit larger than I would have liked for my small wrists - but I can get used to it. Durable and easy to see read without my glasses.
