    Great deal for a beginner friendly lightweight serger!

    The Singer Tiny Serger is just as described. I sewed my first trial stitches yesterday, and it works great! I think I will be very happy with it. I mainly make alterations to thrifted clothes. If you're contemplating getting a used Singer Tiny Serger: It is complicated to thread the machine, which is the case with any serger from what I understand. I used three regular sized spools of thread vs the larger cone style spool. The directions are very detailed in the manual. I was able to thread it using a headlamp (from my camp gear) and the tweezers/threader included with the machine. These are not special tweezers or threader, just what you would have in regular sewing supplies. This was my first time threading a serger. So, even if you don't have any experience with it, I think ...
