The right part at the right time.
This was what I needed in my older years of cycling, converting to a triple for climbing up steep grades. My old Ultegra double shifters was design to also work as a triple shifter, so I needed a triple front deraileur to make the change. I just happen to have a 9 speed triple crankset to make this work. I'm glad this was available, worked the way I wanted too.

fixes the FD 3304 triple problem
replaced the faulty Shimano Sora FD 3304 with the spring deterioration issue with this, a much better design and quality piece.
