      WAY BACK IN THE EARLY 80S I had a e.q. in my dash It was great for adjusting each song whichever way I liked this e.q. is the best I have ever run across for me a must have for great audio this one has low noise in fact no noise some imitators pick up engine noise it also has useful features like two buttons for adjusting the sub independently from the mid to high frequency speakers and it is very compact and built very sturdy

      KCG4042 great multiamp old school EQ!

      Kenwood KCG4042 on a multi amp system. No going through tons of menus to make equalization changes on the Kenwood head unit that also cut the audio each level which is ridiculous as you cannot hear the difference. Who designs the current HUs what a joke. Has nice sub control to quickly be able to make changes to suit source levels. I had a Soundstream MPQ5 which was just ok. 1 set of inputs and 3 sets of outputs.

      Old school is still the best

      I just installed it today and oh boy didn’t disappoint me at all, my door speakers sound is enhanced and my sub woofers bass has an added boost. Brings me chills and my childhood memories of a good quality sound system. Thank you
