Unfortunately ...3 STARS.
I was SO hoping to love this product...unfortunately...I didn't. Personally, I only use waterproof mascara...( I bought the waterproof version of this so I can't speak to the non-waterproof, regular version in this particular review) YES... this mascara does what it says however...you better be fast about applying this product because it's NOT buildable and it is hard on your lashes after drying. YES...it makes them VERY big and full...I'm just hating the NON-BUILDABLE aspect of this product which is my #1 expectation in a mascara. I also dislike how harsh it is when trying to remove it. Again...if you're not quick when applying this waterproof version of the product, it will begin to clump a bit and FORGET reapplying anytime throughout the day...LOL! NO WAY! Unfortunately, I won't repurchase due to the non-buildable issue. (However, the regular version could be totally buildable) Price is high in the store but I wouldn't even pay $1.00 for it because of how non-buildable it was. Maybelline is top quality & has been for all the years I've bee buying it!
I started out with Maybelline Ultra Lash. Long before there were "designer" cosmetics, there was the cosmetic bag with with 1 mascara, 1 lipstick, 1 compact, 1 eyebrow pencil & 1 liquid eyeliner (which I still like the best!) Over the years, I've tried it all..IT cosmetics, Blinc mascara, Benefit, They're Real, Lancome, Clinique & many more high end mascara's. Perfectly good products, all of them but they sure can put a hurt on the wallet. Falsies Push Up Drama is just as good as the rest with a much lower price point. Longer lashes!
