I'm impressed with the unit being as small as it is..
There are no cons about this unit, this is one of the better units Boss ever made. In fact, I prurchased another one a week later. The effects are very good for a unit that is only half-rack size. I've owned several full size rack units made by Roland that didn't have the sound quality as the Pro SE-50. When these units first came out they retailed around $500.00 . Now you can buy them for around $ 100.00, you can't beat that kind of deal. Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on guitar equipment. I've tried ART, Digtech, Zoom, Ibanez, Behringer, Line Six, Peavey, Alesis and Marshall processors, but I believe for the money, Roland/Boss gives you good quality at a fair price. I'm sure there are more professional equipment you could purchase at a much higher price but I'm not about to pay hundreds of dollars or even thousands just for a processor. In other words, if you have a good recipe, just stick to it.
