It magnetic so it sticks to the grill and will not fall off. I just did a steak on the grill and came out perfect. I mainly purchased this to do chicken on the grill. Perfectly done every time
Temperature probes showing the exact temperature of each steak makes it easy to get each one done perfectly. I would not recommend trying to use the temp probes with thin hamburgers (1/4 lb) as there's just not enough thickness of the meat for the probe to be accurate. Using it with the Weber iConnect app is a great idea, but I prefer to trust the temperature probes more than the cook timings of the app. I think the app will continue to be improved with time.
