Love love love this stuff
For a long time I hesitated on buying this because I thought it was something completely unnecessary. I thought since I have all kinds of cleanser and toner what in the world would I need this for also? Let me tell you that it makes a huge difference. I have oily combination skin and even though this is an oil it actually has the opposite effect of what you would think Boyle would have on oily skin. It smells great and it really sinks into your face and I've never in my life had softer skin now that I've been using this every night before my cleanser. good and thorough
I have used this product off and on for almost ten years. I have tried other cleansers in between just to see the difference. The reason I switched for a time was because I got some in my eye and it really stung. But I was ok after I rinsed with water. This time I bought the big bottle of 150 ml and I am very satisfied with the daily results. I was careful not to get any into my eyes. I put a lot on my face: dermalogica multi-active toner, gentle soothing booster, intensive moisturizer, primer, and foundation with sun screen. I live in the city next to street traffic (with constant car exhaust) so I needed a strong pre-cleanse to get all that off at the end of the day. Because the pre cleanse is an thin oily cleanser, my face is left very clean and soft, not dried up and tightened. This is important as I am over 62 with beautiful skin still. I have very oily skin; so why would I use an oil to cleanse it? The question I really should be asking is why did it take me so long to realize this is the best product ever? As it states on the bottle, it's a precleanser, which means that I was my face with a facial wash after using this product just to get the remaining residue from my day off my face. This literally just melts any kind of makeup or residue or whatever right off your face. It's very gentle -- so gentle that I can use it on and around my eyes to get my eye makeup off and my mascara. Gets my makeup off
This product does what it is supposed to do. It dissolves makeup and makes for easier cleaning. I do cleanse with a cleanser after using the pre-cleanse in order to have all makeup removed. It is good to use more of this product if you find there is lingering makeup after cleansing. You will see the evidence of makeup removal as you use this product.
