Sunscreen cancels the color.
Wait until color has fully set (about 3 hours) before using any product with sunscreen. You'll notice that some reviewers say that the color didn't last- I bet they used moisturizer with sunscreen, or concealer with sunscreen. It comes out very dark and almost gray as you put it on. I was mortified that I'd changed races, but it lightened up as it soaked in and the grayness went away to reveal compliment-gathering skin tone. The extra darkness at first lets you see better to apply evenly. Sometimes I add a bit more for contouring, or wipe a bit off with a cotton swab for highlighting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have used so many self tanners, I am now an expert. This one doesn’t even come close. It gets two stars for the ingredient list, but as for color, where is it?
