    Purge sensor

    After waiting nearly 3 weeks to get my item I took off the old sensor, I put on the new one cleared the codes, started the car and let it run for 15 minute. I shut off the engine for 15 minute, then took it out for a drive. After driving around for half an horror, i turned down the street where I live anni the check engine light came on again. When I put the obd scanner back on it showed the same code as before, P 0441, vapor canister purge solenoid failure. I don't know if the item was damaged in shopping or if it is just a bad part. At this point I am just frustraited.

    Bosh original.

    I was little concerned at first with quality since the cost was only a fragment of the same offered by others. I installed it in a snap and now the engine runs more quietly. I took it on the highway....what a difference and obvious improvement in mileage reason I needed to change it although I had no warning light.
