    Well packed, as described. The vendor stated that he could not test it, but the heaters lit up. That is correct, but that is all that happened - the rest of the valve/tube is totally dead. I am not judging the vendor as he said he could not test it. As a general point I would add that vendors who charge top prices for tubes should invest in a tube tester that can test them.
